We ventured to the National Bison Range last Saturday. It was beautiful, but there were no baby Bison as we had hoped. Getting out of the house into the open range is always welcome (even if you have to stay in the car so as to not become a Bison welcome mat).

The mountains in the background are the Mission mountains which form the east side of Flathead lake (at least they do a little more to the north).
